Ingredients:


  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 2 cans (5 ounces each) tuna, drained
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup diced celery
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced dill pickles
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)


Instructions:


Step 1: Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.

Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Greek yogurt or sour cream, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice. Stir until well combined and smooth.

Step 3: Add the cooled macaroni to the tuna mixture in the bowl. Add the diced celery, red onion, red bell pepper, and diced dill pickles. Stir gently until all the ingredients are evenly coated with the dressing.

Step 4: Season the salad with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning if needed.

Step 5: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the Tuna Macaroni Salad for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.

Step 6: Before serving, give the salad a quick stir and taste for seasoning. Add more salt and pepper if desired.
