• 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
• ¾ cup granulated sugar
• ¾ cup packed light brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 large eggs
• 2 cups (about 12 ounces) chocolate chips (semi-sweet, milk, or a mix!)
Instructions:
Preheat & Prepare:

Combine Dry Ingredients:

Cream Butter & Sugars:
• In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add Eggs & Vanilla:
• Beat in the vanilla extract, then add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition until fully incorporated.
Gradually Add Dry to Wet:
• Slowly add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Stir in Chocolate Chips:
• Fold in the chocolate chips with a spoon or spatula until evenly distributed.

Bake:
• Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are still slightly soft.
Cool:
• Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Enjoy your freshly baked cookies!
