Ingredients:

 • 2 cups of all-purpose flour

 • 1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder

 • 1 and 3/4 cups of granulated sugar

 • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder

 • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of baking soda

 • 1 teaspoon of salt

 • 2 large eggs

 • 1 cup of buttermilk

 • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil

 • 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract

 • 1 cup of hot coffee

 • 1/2 cup of coffee liqueur

 • 8 ounces of mascarpone cheese

 • 1/2 cup of heavy cream

 • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar

 • 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder for dusting

 • Chocolate shavings for garnish

 Directions:

. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

. In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, buttermilk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Gradually add this mixture to the dry ingredients, mixing until well combined.

. Stir in the hot coffee until the batter is smooth. Divide the batter equally between the prepared pans.

. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

. In a small bowl, combine the coffee liqueur and mascarpone cheese. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.

. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture to create the tiramisu frosting.

. Once the cakes are completely cooled, spread a layer of the tiramisu frosting on top of one of the cakes and place the other cake on top.

. Use the remaining frosting to cover the entire cake. Dust with cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate shavings.

. Slice and enjoy this delectable Chocolate Tiramisu Cake!
